15.-19.06.09: Exhibition ARTTRANS TRAVEL AGENCY at Transpublic
He is merging the German Frankfurt/Oder and the Polish Slubice at the frontiers to Slubfurt. Weird? Constructed reality? A new city, including its own parliament, identity card, a Gazetta and a crowing cock on the mobile phones. Michael Kurzwelly, a tour guide vested in jacket and necktie, is leading to Slubfurt, to taste Slubfurt specialities and to get to know projects like the unseen white zone.

LAND OF HUMAN RIGHTS is a project about the status quo of human rights in Europa - from the perspective of visual arts. The project was developed from the art association < rotor > together with partnerinstitutions from south-east-Europe. Since the1990ies < rotor > concentrates intense on art scenes in Middle- and Southeast-Europe. They are focused on art movements in social and political contexts.
