In his video "Querspur forward" (A, 2013, Production Die Fabrikanten coop Institute of time-based media, Art University Linz) Anatol Bogendorfer questions the significance of video as a medium today and studies the change of biographies of young artists who showed their works in video art at the international video-art-festival "Querspur" in Linz (Offenes Kulturhaus, Moviemento) in 1990 have changed.
The documentary "Querspur forward" gives an insight into the history of video art and shows the main aspects of media and video art by video samples and current interviews (with artists, curators and organisers).
